About me

Hi, I’m Jeremy Gauthier, and my journey has been one of transformation, resilience, and service. I once found myself trapped in the grips of addiction, but through determination and the support of my loved ones, I left that life behind to build a brighter future for my family. My mission now is to inspire others to make positive changes in their own lives, just as I did.

My current project stems from a personal and profound experience—a catastrophic workplace fatality that occurred in 2018 at my place of work. This tragic event sparked my deep commitment to workplace safety, and I use my voice to advocate for change and ensure that such tragedies are prevented in the future. I truly believe we are here to serve, and through my work, I aim to inspire lasting change that benefits us all.

Having spent over 20 years in the automotive industry, one of the aspects of my career that brings me the most fulfillment is the mentorship of employees. There’s nothing more rewarding than guiding others, helping them grow, and seeing them thrive. In addition, I’ve volunteered for over a decade with the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation, supporting their initiatives and making a difference in my community.

A lifetime spent in hockey and a love for all sports have taught me the importance of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance, values that I carry with me every day. I’m open about my past struggles with addiction and mental health, and I’m passionate about creating a space where others feel comfortable sharing their stories and finding strength in their journeys.

When I speak, my goal is simple: to inspire lasting change in the lives of those who listen. One of my favorite quotes is, “Kindness is the rent we must pay to occupy our space on this planet,” and it’s a philosophy I live by. Together, we can create a world where safety, kindness, and support are at the forefront of everything we do.

Let’s work together to make the change we want to see.
